Cravebox

The other day I received my first Cravebox.  I signed up after running across a link… someplace.  For the life of me I completely forgot where I found it, although I know it was on Facebook.  I sighed up and was charged on the first, via Google Wallet.  I promptly forgot about it until it was delivered.

We’re delighted to present you with your very first Cravebox! Cravebox is your monthly introduction to crave-worthy products.

This month’s Cravebox, “The Holiday Pamper Me” box, is focused on helping you take a moment out for yourself since we know that the holidays can be a very hectic time.

From the luxurious and moisturizing mèreadesso® Beautiful Body Balm to the tempting Baci truffles and decadent Perugina chocolate bars, we think December’s Cravebox is sure to delight many of your senses! And just in time for the holidays, you’ll also notice that some of the things in this month’s Cravebox are perfect for gift-giving. Enjoy the box!

Of course, when you sign up, you have no idea what’s IN the box, which is one risk of subscriptions like this.  Although everything is nice, I won’t eat the chocolates and I was expecting more then… pens.  It was packaged very nicely and wrapped well.  I was sort of lead to believe that it would be more of a beauty focused box.  Reading through the emails I have saved now, the wording went from beauty and more to including beauty, food, home goods and others.  It did alter a bit.  The pen polish that I got is a great shade, though, and I’ll certainly use the pens!  I’m always collecting them to stash away.

You can see a full list of the contents here.  All in all, everything considered, it was a great deal for 10$, shipping included.  I know first hand how difficult it is to coordinate a project like this!

Did you try Cravebox.  What did you think?  My affiliate link is here, if you’re interested in giving it a shot.

  1. It looks like an interesting assortment of items,I would probably be more interested in purchasing this box if the pens were something more unusual and not the common boring Bic brand/style. What did you think of the lotion? Did the polish go on smoothly?

Oh why won’t you eat the chocolate? Those Baci truffles are amazing! When I was growing up my family were the care takers at the ranch Sophia Loren used to own in Hidden Valley California. It was amazing growing up there, the Ponti’s (Loren) were gone most the year and so we had the entire place to ourselves.

My brothers and I used to sneak around the main house an eat the yummy Italian and Swiss chocolates that were always left in bowls around the house and this brand was one of them…so yummy!

On a side note Sophia is an amazing woman who is nice as can be,she never treated our family any differently than her own and we’d often eat dinners together. I sure miss living out there!

    • I’m vegan, so I don’t eat dairy!

    • Aw, that’s such a lovely story 🙂 .

I love Baci kisses, too, and so does my mother – I loved it when I bought her a whole cardboard tin of them when I went to Italy.

We love keeping the little messages you get with them and comparing the way they say something in different languages.

    • What a beautiful story. 🙂

  2. Oh I don’t know why that didn’t cross my mind, once upon a time I was a vegan so,I should have remembered that. Have you tried any vegan chocolate? I got a Yumbar by Sweetriot in my EcoEmi box last month,it’s a vegan chocolate and I was surprised at how incredibly tasty it was.

  3. This is one I haven’t heard of, am thinking of giving it a try! Do you try Birchbox? I love it, but was very disappointed by gogogirlfriend. Hope to try eco-emi next 🙂

  4. oh, and also the etsy one!
