    I did the math (yes, I did math voluntarily) and calculated, from the amount of posts per week from July and so far in August (admittedly, a small sample), the average number of posts per week on this blog (6.13; of posts per day, the median was 1, and the modes were .71, 1, and 1.14). Assuming that you will post at least once on Friday, and accounting for the dearth of posts at the beginning of July (due, presumably, to Blogging Fatigue from posting every day in June) and the five posts already this week, among other factors I just made up and my intuition, I have calculated that the 1,000th post on this blog will be on:
    September 14th, 2011
    If my calculations are incorrect, I will hunt down every calculator I can find and burn them all.
