  1. I am thankful that my friends and family are happy and healthy, but especially that my older sister finally got engaged to a man we all love 🙂

  2. My house. I’ve been homeless twice, and I’m incredibly grateful that now I have a secure, safe place to live and that there are people here who understand my problems and help me.

Even if I screw up and end up eating dry toast because I run out of money (I do this a lot) I still have a safe place to live where I’m left alone and unjudged. I can’t even describe how wonderful that feels.

Also, nice contest! Havok sounds like a MAC Club dupe, which the world needs more of.

  3. I am thankful I got a job in the industry I wanted and I am well enough to do it 🙂 I was very sick for years completely disabled and thanks to many major operations I can work.

  4. I am most thankful for TEAM RACHAEL! which is comprised of my cardiologist, two nurse practitioners, an electrophysiologist and numerous individuals who stay on top of my health and keep me still here, able to enjoy life to my fullest capabilities ❤

  5. I am thankful for my husband and our health!

  6. Congratulations on 5 years of being vegan. 🙂

    What a beautiful giveaway.

I am most thankful for my husband. He’s my best friend and I just love him to pieces. I actually work with him too.. so we spend ridiculous amounts of time together and never seem to get tired of each other.

  7. I am thankful for my life, and the people around me who make me want to keep living it.

  8. I’m thankful for the food I eat, the clothes I wear, and that there’s always another way out.

  9. I am thankful for finally starting to do something about my excess weight

I’m very, very thankful that our lovely Clare has outlasted by several months the initial prognosis given when her cancer was diagnosed, and that she’s still active and eating well despite her illness. We don’t expect any miracles, but are still quite grateful for every good day she has.

  11. What I’m the most thankful for this month is that I’ve just left a nearly 4 year job that was consuming my life and me as a person, so I’m celebrating the start of a new, uncertain yet full of hope life 🙂

  12. I am thankful for just my life in general. I have a job, a house, a husband, friends. I can’t ask for more really.

    Congrats, Grey! And thank you.

  14. Gosh, I’m thankful for so many things. I think I’m specially thankful for my relationship with Luiz. I never thought I could actually be loved, and I never imagined I’d be so happy with someone! He respects me and likes me for what I am and I love so many things about him. I wish to marry him someday and have kids with red hair and miopia! 😀

I’m also very thankful for meeting the make-up world. I’m having lots of fun and meeting interesting people here!

  18. Wonderful give-away, I found it in a retweed on twitter, and have been exlporing the blog for 30 mins now, it’s so good!

    On to the gratitude.

I am grateful that I’ve this past year, since last thanksgiving, have been able to celebrate one year of marriage.
I truely believe that my hubby is my soulmate, and I’m eternally grateful that he is in my life.
He keeps me sane, happy and secure. He shows me the good not just him, but also in me.
He shows me potential in situations where I see nothing but dispair.
    For that I am grateful.

    Hugs,
    Kat

  19. I am most thankful for life in itself! I’m thankful for God, my husband, and my son. They give me life. 🙂

  20. I’m thankful for my boyfriend, who has helped me get out of a rough period in my life.

  21. I am thankful for my boyfriend. I very probably would have done something drastic several years ago if it wasn’t for him helping me through things, and he’s still the person that understands me the best.

  22. I’m so thankful for my husband and children. My husband came into my life at a time when I was trying to figure out who I was and escape from a not-so pleasant home life. We were married and started our family young and have made our share of mistakes but I’m grateful every day that I have three beautiful little girls to wake up to every morning, even school mornings when 7 AM comes FAR too early. 🙂

  23. i’m most thankful for being alive and well this month. in september, i was hit by a drunk driver and am lucky to be alive, let alone almost walking again!

  24. Glitter_Wings1995 November 1, 2010 at 4:17 pm

  27. I’m thankful for having friends and family that care about my well being.

  28. I’m thankful for my fiance most of all, who is always there for me!

  31. I am thankful for having the courage to come out, even thought it meant maybe losing people I had considered as friends. In this courage, I have found a stronger person inside of me that I didn’t think was there. I am grateful to have friends who love me no matter what.

  32. Thanks for always having such cool contests =]

I’m am thankful for a lot of things, but the thing I’m thankful for most of all is my son. He is the joy of my life, the reason I’m bettering myself, and the reason I want to be the best person I can be. I want to make him proud. He has brought me nothing but happiness and every day I’m so glad that I had him. He was the best ‘mistake’ to ever happen to me =]

  33. I am thankful for my husband and family.

  34. I am thankful for my new job at the Kimbell Art Museum. It allowed me to get out of a dead end job and do something I really love. I’m also thankful for the new friends I seem to be making. I hope they turn out to be the real thing!

  35. For my boyfriend who is really the best thing that happened to me. ❤
I just don't think I could go through some things without him and it's so amazing that he has so much faith in me when I don't even see any kind of light at the end of the tunnel. But he does. Always.

  36. I am thankful for my two wonderful children. Without them I don’t kno where i would be!

  37. I am grateful for being able to continue my education with college. I am currently applying and I know many people in my area can’t afford to continue or are not allowed to go on to higher learning. The fact that I am even applying is something that I am grateful for.

  38. I’m thankful for being able to get my shop up and running on etsy!

  39. meeyeehere aka Rachel Crisman November 1, 2010 at 5:50 pm

I am most thankful for my birthday this month. Even though I am getting older and closer to death I am also still alive and having a terrific time. I am morbid but very happy! Very thankful too.
Thank you for the terrific giveaway.
    jacksoncrisman@yahoo.com

  40. I’m thankful my mister puts up with me even with my crazy on-line shopping spree days.

  41. I’m thankful for my family and my boyfriend and I’m thankful for doing relatively well in school!

  42. I’m thankful for my mother who has always been there for me no matter what stupid things I might have done or said. For dealing with me in my random fits of rage and social anxiety problems. I’m thankful for my boyfriend who listens to me and goes out of his way to make me happy. I’m thankful for the friends I’ve made over the years who have stood by me even when I haven’t always been so good to them. I’m thankful to have a roof over my head. I’m thankful to be literate. I’m thankful to have things I don’t need like internet and game systems.

  43. I’m thank full my husband comes back from deployment this month! just in time for Veterans day :] I can’t wait!

  44. I am thankful that my boyfriend is sticking with me even when I’m a total bitch. I am also thankful that even if I don’t get to spend Christmas with my parents, I get to go home in January.

  45. I am thankful for my health and my family’s health. Whenever I get frustrated or distraught and start beating myself help, I remind myself that I’m very fortunate to be healthy.

  46. I am thankful for my life, and all my friends and family. I am thankful that I have the things I have– from the shoes on my feet to my education.

  47. I am thankful for my health and family. i just recently graduated from medical school, so i’m a doctor in training, and see lots of people with illness and often times alone with no one to care for them. I am so grateful that I have strength and well-being and people who love me!

  48. I’m very thankful for my family this year. I have always been the ‘friends are more important’ type, and I guess it’s because I’m getting older, but I’ve really been enjoying being around my family lately.

I’m also thankful for my boyfriend/best friend because he’s been there for me constantly for the past two years. I haven’t really ever had that in my life.

  49. I’m thankful for my friends and family. And for not being depressed. November usually brings with it a bout of depression, but it hasn’t hit yet, which may be the first time in over a decade.

  50. I’m grateful for my fantastic roommates – after spending a year with a girl who spoke to me only a handful of times, it’s so nice to have friendly, welcoming people in my apartment.

  51. Congratulations on 5 years vegan! I’m going on 3 years myself.
And that’s what I’m thankful for, that we live in a world where it is so easy to be vegan. Everyday I’m glad to be vegan, I love it and it never feels like a sacrifice. I’m also very thankful for my vegan straight-edge boyfriend and our very not-vegan cat.

  52. This month, I am thankful for having a job after not having one for most of the year. So far, I’m loving it.

    Congrats on 5 years vegan!

  53. I’m thankful for my husband and family and for another year of good health.

  54. I’m thankful that my roommate is gone! It might sound frivolous, but this is a girl that made the last half year of my life absolutely miserable, culminating in us having to call the cops on her mom and getting our locks changed once she moved out. It’s a nightmare that, unfortunately, hasn’t completely ended yet since her mom is STILL trying to break into our apartment, but I’m just thankful that I can wake up and feel COMFORTABLE and FREE in my own apartment.
I have to work more to pay the rent, but it’s so worth it!

  55. I’m thankful for a great number of things. Most prominently, though, as sappy as this sounds, I’m grateful for the presence of my fiance in my life.

We got together at the culmination of a horrifically rough period of my life, and, as I explained to one of the perpetrators of that awfulness when she sought me out “for closure” recently (over a year later!), for as damaging as that period of time was to me, I strangely enough landed very much on my feet, and wouldn’t change the end result for the world.

  56. I’m thankful for things like the golden trees blooming lovely honey scented flowers near my house and the rainbows we get after rain. I’m thankful for my gorgeous friends and family and the safety we’ve been having. I’m thankful for blue skies, unclouded by smoke, fog or bomb aftermath and every little thing I’ve been blessed with this Oct.

  57. I’m thankful for all the wonderful people in my life. It’s amazing how some things can change in the smallest amount of time…

  58. I am very thankful for my family. When everything else is awful, we have each other to lean on.

  59. There are sooo many things I’m grateful for, but first and foremost is my son.
He is very active but the one single most amazing being in my life. He is my light and he is also the reason why I get out of bed in the morning (well, that would also be, because he wakes me up!) 🙂

  60. I am thankful that me, my husband and daughter will be able to share an intimate Thanksgiving dinner with just us three for the first time.

  61. I’m thankful that nothing is ever as bad as it seems. Perspective is everything, even though it’s often hard to look outside of our small sphere of existence to appreciate all of the wonderfully simple and fantastic things that happen every day.

I’m also thankful that there’s always a small group of people who have a lot of hope for humanity, and even after experiencing all of the worst parts of life, can still fight (peacefully, of course) for a better world.

  62. I’m thankful for my new hubby and how great he is with my daughter. 🙂

    Thanks for the giveaway.

  63. I’m extremely thankful for my family and my friends. These past two years, I was in a anti-social depressing stage in my life. I started lying to everyone I knew and lashing out at them. No matter how bad it was, they never stopped supporting me and encouraging me.

They knew I could be a better person. When my best friend finally confronted me and gave me the most well deserved talk/lecture, I think I finally woke up and realized what my life had come to.

Since than, I’ve been going to school, holding a steady job, getting involved in my school + community. I’m in such a better place now and I’ll never forget how it means to me that they were willing to stick by.

  64. This month I am most thankful for just being alive and having medical treatments made available to me, even if I am just scraping by to afford them to modify my disease from its crippling effects, keep my spirits up, keep the pain at bay, be able to see & enjoy my children smile, hug my husband, spend time with family, enjoy my friends and live life…no matter how trivial of a day it is, if it is just lying on the sofa because of the pain or the ability to go walk the mall and do some shopping because I can that day…I am thankful to just be…alive.

  65. I suppose this may sound silly, but I am most thankful for my dog. She’s really saved me and makes my life a little happier these days 🙂

  66. I’m thankful for my friends. With out them I would not have survived childhood. I was bullied pretty badly and I was often depressed. I’m not sure I would have made it to high school with out my best friend Heather. She was my only friend though primary school and now she’s basically my sister. She and I are in different schools but we call/write to one another every day. Over Thanksgiving break she and I will be able to see each other for four glorious days. 😀
Congratulations! Anyone who sticks to being Vegan for five years is a hero in my book. I really admire your dedication.

  67. I am most thankful for my friends. I couldn’t ask for any better

  68. I’m thankful for my three new adopted nephews and niece and the fourth one thats on the way!

  69. I am most thankful for my mother for giving birth to me (obviously), but also teaching me how to have fun and have an inner child. She also taught me how to suck it up and work hard.

  70. I am most thankful for my family and my horses!

  71. I am mostly thankful for my wonderful bosses at work. They are so understanding its almost unbelievable!

  72. I’ve had an amazing amount of things to be grateful for in the last couple of days.
I’m thankful that I finally gained the courage to find romance with a friend – who is now my beautiful girlfriend.
I’m thankful for the people I surround myself with, who accept me for who I am, and as my girlfriend has decided to come out, who she is. And on the same tangent, I’m thankful for my city’s giant LGBT support group, for giving me this courage in the first place, and I’m thankful for my art teacher, who is supportive and challenges me with my work.

  73. My close friends. This last year’s been a bit of a mess for me, even moreso the past two months, and in all honesty their support is keeping me afloat.

  74. I’m most thankful for my health. These past few months have been very hard on me. I had a terrible respiratory infection that landed me in the ER a grand total of 15 times and lasted around 2 months. I was also recently diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome. I’ve been told I probably won’t be able to have children, which brings me to the next thing I’m thankful for. My fiance. He’s a truly wonderful man that has stuck by me through everything. His love for me never changed with all of my recent health problems & bad news. I may not have a job or money & we may be struggling really bad…but as long as I have him its all worth it.

  75. I’m thankful for the infinite possibility of existence, and for my own fear of infinity. Sometimes the world is not enough, but I always remember it is too much.

  76. I’m thankful for my husband and all my family and friends, and for every day my dog Cleo is still around (she’s 13 y/o and she is showing some severe signs of aging).

PS: I’m not thankful for the heat and the humidity and all the Summer jazz, not at all. 🙂

  77. Congratulations on five years of being vegan! I’m thankful for the roof over my head. We moved from an apartment to a house this year and, while the repairs and renovations have been a pain, we are now in a safer area of town and we even have a small yard for the dogs to play in.

  78. I’m most thankful for my husband, who’s an outstanding man and was there for me when I needed him the most. I’m grateful for every breath, because breathing isn’t something to take lightly, especially when you have multiple blood clots in your lungs, like I had. I’m grateful for my kitties, past and present; they are love and joy and happiness. I miss you my Princess.

  79. I am thankful for all the love I receive from those around me, even if they may be very far away. My life would be bleak without my friends and family.

  80. I’m thankful for my two year-old nephews prescence in my life. I’ve been struggling mental illness since I was just a child, and I’ve always KNOWN in my heart I would lose the struggle. Until they came along. Just the fact that they exist and love me no matter how crazy I am makes me willing to face another day. (of course I’m also grateful for my fiancée and the rest of my family, but Lucas and Leander top the charts)

  81. I’am thankful that my im recovering from painfull illness

  82. For my family, friends and the fact that I got a job after two years of searching.

  83. Congrats on being vegan for 5 years now! I am thankful for the two awesome concerts I am going to this november. Amy MacDonald, it will be the first time I see her live. And Lady Gaga! It will be the second time I see her live but she is my favorite singer ever so I am soooo exited! And my birthday is in November so I’m also thankful for the chance to celebrate that with all my friends!

  84. Congratulations on your 5th year of being vegan. 🙂

This month, or any other month, I’m most thankful for having a loving family.

  85. Thank you for hosting this wonderful contest! And congratulations! c:

I’m really thankful that distance didn’t have an impact on the relationship with my best friend. She’s currently studying in France and I don’t get to see her very often, but when I do it’s like she’s never been away in the first place. It’s a very good feeling.

And of course, my family, my friends. 😀

  86. It sounds cliche, but my family, my life partner, and my business partner – all awesome.

  87. Thanks much for the giveaway, Miss Grey!

I am very, very thankful for my best friend and roommate, Bobby. He, along with my family, has helped me tremendously – both financially and emotionally – through a most difficult year.

  88. Thankful for my job and for my parents who are two of the strongest, most hardworking individuals I know. I hope that one day, I will be as hardworking as they are and that I can support them and give them the life they deserve. I love you two.

Oh yeah, and I’m thankful for my brother, as much of a runt as he may be. 😀

  89. Congrats on five years! That’s such an achievement. I can’t even imagine how difficult it would be to be vegan – it seems everything has some bit of animal product in it.

This month I’m thankful to the man at the jewellery store, for not shunning me away when I asked for a job application. It might seem like nothing, but it’s VERY hard to find work in the UK at the moment, so I’m thankful for even the chance!

  90. I’m thankful that I’m surrounded by amazing people who love me. I’ve made and strengthened so many friendships/relationships this year, and they’ve all really helped me grow and discover who I am.

    Also happy five years! 😀

  91. Last week one of my dogs came down with parvo virus. Last two of my other dogs escaped and one was hit by a car. I am so, so thankful that Chester (parvo pup) is going to make it, that Sunny (car) will too, and that Ginger, who also escaped, made her way home. I am thankful that my babies are all going to be okay.

I am also thankful, as a vegan, that there are so many great vegan products out there to make the holidays a little more animal friendly.

  92. I am thankful for my friends and family, to have a safe home, being able to have food and water, the ability to pass down what I know and have learned through others, having something to smile about everyday, having red hair and maintaining it (even if it’s a hassle at times), getting to hear ‘I love you’ everyday, clean clothes.

  93. thanks for the contest
I am grateful for all of the work that I am getting (not from makeup 😦 but its still work)

  94. I am extremely grateful for my amazing family and friends.

  95. I’m thankful for my perky Chihuahua for cheering me up, even when things seem utterly desolate. And also for my Dad who is the rock in my life, and my ridiculous bandmates, who have witnessed me at my best and worst over the past 7 years, and have never judged me, or even batted an eyelash. Here’s to the next 7 years

  96. im most thankful for the health of my beautiful cats, Kali and Lily. And for the love of my life, Christopher. 🙂

  97. I am thankful that my husband is not deployed this year and is able to spend our son’s first Thanksgiving with him. I am thankful for my husband and our two wonderful kids. I am also thankful for my family and friends!

  98. I’m thankful for my husband, friends, and family. They have helped me through some tough times and I’m extremely grateful. 🙂

  99. I am most thankful that I am alive. To feel the cold air and see the changing leaves and know that I haven’t killed myself yet, that I’ve been strong, brings tears of happiness to my eyes. I’m so glad I haven’t died, I just… that’s what’s most important to me now.

  100. I am thankful that my big sister finally got the life she deserves. She has an amazing man, who loves her like no one ever has before, they have the cutes puppy in the world and for the last, but definately not for the least, they have a baby on the way. I’m so happy for her, ’cause she used to say that she doesn’t believe in love and she doesn’t want to have kids. Now she’s changed so much and when I look at her, I see this woman, who GLOWS with happiness. I have never seen her like that.

  101. I am thankful my husband got a job this year and has been working. It makes him a happier person and our household is happier all around.

  102. I’m thankful for my daughter.

  103. Wow, that custom shadow sounds amazing!

I’m thankful for lot of stuff, every day. I have my health, my family, my little shoppe, my friends, my car, a place to live and food to eat… I can’t pick just one thing to be thankful for, but I do make sure to take a little time out of every day to think about just how lucky I am to have all that I have. I think we all should; it’s nice to focus on what you have, rather than what you don’t, eh?

  104. Congratulations on 5 years of veganism!

I am most thankful for my wonderful family, comprised of the most patient husband, willing to put up with my many faults, and our two beautiful/strong/challenging daughters, whom I hope will one day be even more stronger/willful/confident young women.

  105. Congrats on your anniversary!! ;]

I suppose I’m thankful that I’ve realized that I can separate myself from the the collective’s appearance with makeup, clothes, accessories, and attitude. But I think I’m most thankful for my mom. She deals with my below-average behavior and loves and supports me through anything.

  106. Life, the universe, and everything!

  107. I’m thankful for…remote car starters. I love winter, but brrrr It’s rough in the morning :p

    Congrat’s on your anniversary!

  108. Hurrah, Nov 22 is my birthday! Hope that gives me good luck! XD And congrats on five years of being vegan!

I’m most thankful for my family. I’m living at home with them while I put myself through graduate school. For one thing, I wouldn’t have been able to afford school if I couldn’t live with them; for another, I’ve turned into a very nasty person at times, and they still put up with me.

  109. Congrats of your anniversary!

I’m thankful that no matter what we’re able to allow change and that we’re able to make our own decisions.

  110. I’m thankful to be finishing up uni for the semester. I’m all for getting an education, but it’s been a stressful few months and I’ll be looking forward to having a break 🙂

  111. Congratulations on 5 years of being vegan!

I am thankful for many things this year.
    My home-its my sanctuary
For the diagnosis that made most of the pain go away
    My company-that keeps us afloat
    Being able to create everyday
My family that supports me no matter how hair brained or risky it seems!

  112. I’m thankful for my friend Karen who saves me sanity when I’m hanging on by a thread. I had a really hard end of the year last year and she totally rescued me from myself. And come to think of it, she rescued me when I was sick this summer. She has excellent taste in movies. She always recommends the best TV shows and books. She goes super out of her way to find fun for us (concerts, events, etc) and to make special occasions really special. (Like the best birthday breakfast in bed ever which included mimosas)
She’s just a great friend and I am SO thankful for her.

  113. I’m thankful that God has been leading me through the years. And I’m thankful that He’ll always be there for me.

  114. I’m thankful for good health, family and friends.
    I truly am.

French electronic music, coconuts and raspberries, British comedians.

  116. Ooh I love Sobe, great giveaway! Btw how long is the code good for?

As for what I am most thankful for, my second chance with my boyfriend two years ago. In just a few weeks we’ll be celebrating two years together and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. 🙂

Congratulations on your 5 years of being vegan! 🙂

  117. As cliche as it may sound, I’m thankful for my family. I can’t even say how lucky I am to have found my soul mate, and I know I’m even luckier that we’ve been able to weather the years and stay together for 16 years, creating a beautiful daughter along the way. They are the light of my life and I couldn’t exist without them.

  118. I’m thankful for my little niece, she keeps our family (that has nothing else in common really) together.

  119. I am so thankful for the hot, delicious latte. Life; feel free to throw anything you wish at me, as long as you won’t take away my latte.

  120. I’m thankful for Veteran’s Day. Without our active duty military and veterans, we couldn’t enjoy the freedom that we enjoy today.

  121. I’m thankful for my mom who puts up with all my crap and hobbies. =P

  122. I’m most thankful for having my family together (in our minds and hearts) even though we are all scattered around the globe 🙂

  123. This year, I am most thankful for good live music. With a stressful job that occupies my thoughts most hours of the day (and sometimes my dreams as well), a great live show by a band (be they local or national) that really gives their all on stage is the best break from “reality” that I can get.

  124. I am thankful for a new doggie.
    Dogs love us unconditionally ❤

  125. I am thankful for having a job in this economy, though it is uncertain if I will have one soon (might be closing) and I am thankful for my wonderful fiance and my 2 doggies-even though they can be very evil sometimes.

  126. I’m thankful for my loving fiancé, without whom I would not have made it through this year.. and who has supported me in all my endeavors.

  127. I’m thankful for my education and always having new things to learn. ^_^

  128. I’m thankful for my education and always having new things to learn.

  129. I’m thankful for my sweetheart of a boyfriend who does his everything to keep me sane when my work is currently trying to push me over the edge. Today I received a text message saying that he has done all the shopping for me and that there’s salad and freshly baked bread waiting for me at home (I won’t be seeing him until he wakes me up in the middle of the night because today he has a game night with his friends).

    Congrats on the anniversary!

  130. I’m thankful for finding someone who is just as conscious, creative and progressive as I am. We collaborate creatively, we learn together, we volunteer and feed our community together, as well as push people past their perceived limitations in our creative fields. We’re currently engaged to be married and planning a spectacle of a wedding for the entertainment of everyone we love! LITERALLY, we run a socially responsible circus. And if consciousness breeds consciousness, no wonder why we’ve got all of these amazing tribe mates surrounding us!

  131. i am thankful that the people i work with are so nice

  132. I am thankful that after six months I am finally working again. Thanks for the job!

  133. I am most grateful for my husband and our first year of marriage together!

I am thankful that my family is healthy

  135. I’m grateful that I work with a bunch of really great people, as I’m currently working 12 hour days and see them more than I do my family!

  136. I am most thankful for my family, and that everyone is getting by. It’s been a hard few years especially for my parents, my mom had a tumor last year, and was out of work for a long time. Thankfully now she is healed and healthy and able to work again. I’m just so grateful that everything somehow managed to work out okay

  137. I am thankful for many things. First and foremost, I am thankful for my family. I am also thankful for my boyfriend Chase and my close friends. I am thankful for all the great people in my life who support me, entertain me, love me, help me, and inspire me.

Lastly, I am thankful for blogs like yours that are fun to read, informative, and honest. Thank you SoBe and Grey for this giveaway. =)

  138. i am so thankful to be alive and sober! and even a little more thankful to my husband, family and friends who supports me and loves me through my struggles.

  139. I’m 15 and I’m thankful for the chance the universe is giving me to finally be myself. It feels like a nice long sigh of relief to not have to act like someone else, and finally get to know the person I am, the person I have been hiding.

    🙂

    xoxox.

  140. Im thankful of being in (relatively) good health and that my family is also all well and that my bf has come to see me again. 🙂

  141. I am thankful for the generosity of strangers.

  142. I am grateful that I’m still in the school I want to be in despite my parents’ consistent complaining about the high tuition

  143. I’m most thankful for being rid of my addictions this year, making it out alive really. I wouldn’t take back any of my experiences, but I am thankful to be sober.

  144. I’m thankful for having such a supportive and loving family. I know way too many people that are not as fortunate as I in that department. 😦

  145. I am thankful that after a year of fighting my mother has finally been certified cancerfree.

  146. imtankfull for my health

  147. I am thankful that since Nov. 1, my life seems to have turned around and is heading in the right direction. Things have improved with my work, my family and my overall quality of life.

  148. I am very thankful for being healthy once again… For having a reason to wake up in the morning, my family… For the sun still shining every morning in my heart, even if it’s cloudy… For the love I feel every day for all the things that make me feel alive again!

    THANK YOU! ❤

  149. I’m going to take the predictable route and say that I am thankful for my friends and close family. My grandmother has been very sick these past couple of months and it’s been tough. My mom and I have been working really hard to take care of her (especially my mom). It makes you realize how lucky you are to be healthy, which is another thing I am thankful for.

  150. I’m thankful that I was able to go to college and find a space full of wonderful, crazy, and supportive people who have been such an inspiration to me. (I’m about to graduate, so I’ve been reflecting on this for a bit.)

    Congrats on your vegan anniversary!

  151. I’m most grateful this month for getting my health back.

  152. i’m very thankful that God has guided me on major decisions in my life. i feel that he wants me to redirect my path. i’ve given up so many things already and yet i can feel that He is guiding me to something better. no regrets!

  153. I am thankful in this month on November for my independence. I cut the strings from home and left to return to university in another city. The result has been successful and I am thankful for making that leap.

  154. I am cumulatively thankful this year for being a survivor of an alcoholic family of origin, lupus, a lupus-related handicap, a stroke, and a rare form of endometrial cancer!

  155. I am thankful that there is a sunshine and fresh air every morning giving me a great start of the day. And also, sending me my wonderful boyfriend who always supports me with his best.

  156. I’m especially thankful for my mom this year. I moved to the other side of the US and this is the longest I’ve ever been away from her. It’s hard to be away from her but it makes me love and appreciate her even more!

  157. Having lost my father-in-law 2 years ago to throat cancer and the recent diagnosis of my mother-in-law’s lymphoma, I am grateful that my family is strong. As trying as the past few years have been, and the upcoming months ahead, we have remained positive, encouraging, and loving with each other. Some families fall apart in tough times, but we have pulled together and found strength in each other.

  158. I am grateful: to have married the love of my life, to never be want for shelter and food, for enough self realization to make changes.

  159. I am thankful that this is the first holiday season in 8 years that I am not working in retail cosmetics. I had no idea how much I’d grown to hate this time of year. I am actually DECORATING, baking, and I’ve not had to pre-sell a single holiday set.

  160. Im most thankful for my son. He is my little rock that keeps me from tumbling down the cliff. I was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago and I deal with pain on a day to day, but just looking at his little smile and being so happy, loving and carefree inspires me. I love him, and couldnt ask for a better angel on earth.

  161. I am thankful I have a job that allows me to buy tons of makeup.

  162. I am thankful for my wonderful boyfriend who has been more support than anyone could ever dream of, and is so FULL of love he just amazes me everyday 🙂

  163. This is a bit difficult for me to answer. My mom died this year, she was very ill at this time last year. I am also pregnant and have been quite emotional.

I would have to say that this November 2010, I am most grateful for my health, my daughter’s health, having a family, though small, I still have a family. I am also grateful that the baby growing in belly is healthy and will be due on a special day, Christmas.
I am grateful that my car still runs well (it’s a 1990 Civic Hatch), our furnace is still working, my oven and freezer are now working again, and most of all, the kindness of perfect strangers. When I feel that humanity has lost all hope, people still surprise me.
